Overview

Veteran Energy was founded by energy executive and former US military member Kevin Barber, who was looking for ways to support the nation's heroes more. Barber launched the energy company in 2010 because he thought the provision of electricity should include a specific benefit for veterans. The business now offers customers electricity at affordable prices while simultaneously supporting the veteran and military communities. A payment is made to a military charity automatically for electricity plans purchased through the provider.

  • Founded in 2010
  • Subsidiary of TXU Energy
  • Donates portion of annual profits to Veteran and Military Support Charities
  • It sources all its electricity from renewable sources
