Discover how Gatby Group Rate helps you save on electricity by joining others to unlock lower rates through collective buying power.

When I launched Gatby, I had one mission in mind: to put the power of choice—and savings—back in the hands of everyday electricity consumers. For too long, individuals have been left to fend for themselves in a marketplace built around confusion, cluttered pricing, and fine print. So we set out to change that.

Today, I’m proud to announce Gatby Group Rate™, a new way to buy electricity where strength in numbers truly pays off.

Why We Built Group Rate

Gatby Group Rate was born out of a simple idea: what if we helped people band together to shop for electricity the same way businesses do—at scale?

The concept is simple: the more people who join a group, the bigger the group’s electricity demand becomes. That demand attracts electricity providers who want to win that business. The result? Lower prices for everyone in the group.

We call it the Cycle of Savings:
→ Bigger group → More provider competition → Lower rates → Even more people join → Prices go down further.

It's a win-win—and it's completely free to join.

How It Works

  1. Join a Group – It takes seconds. No credit card, no contract, no commitment.
  2. Grow the Group – Share with friends, neighbors, and communities. The more members, the better the rates.
  3. Let Providers Bid – We invite electricity providers to compete for the group’s business through an auction-like process.
  4. Lowest Rate Wins – We present the best rate to the group, and you decide whether to enroll.
  5. Lock It In – If the winning plan works for you, enroll by the end of the month. If not, no worries.

We make switching easy, and for those already in a contract, we help you compare renewal offers or plan ahead for when it’s time to switch.

Built on Transparency and Trust

We’ve built Gatby Group Rate around transparency, fairness, and simplicity—everything the traditional electricity shopping experience isn’t.

  • Verified Providers Only: Every provider on Gatby has gone through our multi-step vetting process. That means they’ve been in business at least 5 years, have high customer ratings, and offer reliable support, mobile tools, and flexible payment options.
  • Clear Comparisons: Our platform strips away the jargon. You’ll see real costs, real savings, and plans laid out side by side.
  • Customer-First Design: Whether you’re switching for the first time or just looking for a better renewal, our system puts you in control.

One customer put it best: “I found a plan 15% cheaper and signed up in 30 seconds.”

Real Savings. Real Stories.

We’re already seeing customers save $360 - $500 a year compared to the average market rate—and that’s just from our May group.

But what excites me most isn’t just the savings. It’s the community. Hundreds of people are joining forces to unlock deals that would have been impossible on their own. Gatby isn’t just another shopping tool—it’s a movement.

What’s Next

Gatby Group Rate is just getting started. In the coming months, we’ll roll out new features, more provider partnerships, and expanded groups to help even more people save.

If you’ve ever felt overwhelmed shopping for electricity—or felt like you were being taken advantage of—this is your invitation to join us.

Join a group. Share with your neighbors. Start saving.
Let’s put the power back where it belongs—with the people.
